Family time at RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain is all about making lasting memories. At the resort, playing, dining, relaxing together or out enjoying the mountains, there’s enough to keep you connected with your family throughout your entire vacation.
At the Resort
While at the resort, spend time splashing with the family in the heated all season outdoor pool. In the summer, the outdoor pool is great for swimming and wading. In the winter, the larger outdoor pool converts into an ice skating rink. Bring the family down to the game room; the kids will thank you for it. Or, why not simply take some time for a board game with the family in front of the fireplace in your spacious suite.
Most people choose to come to the mountains to take in the abundance of outdoor family activities. All year long, the fresh air of the White Mountains make outdoor recreation fun, healthy, and most importantly full of memories. Go for a short hike on the RiverWalk trail, along the Pemi and through the resort grounds. Dip your toes (or your whole body) in one of the many swimming holes found in the cool mountain streams. Join fellow guests at the campfire at night and enjoy smores the way they were meant to be enjoyed. Learn the art of fly fishing or simply take a relaxing tube ride down the river. There are so many ways to connect outside in the Western White Mountains.
It’s never cold and it never rains in the White Mountains. Even so, there are some great family activities that are unique and fun and best when done together. RiverWalk has a great owner’s club room (for owners of course) and game room to enjoy. Around town, you can paint your own pottery at Fired on The Mountain and you can reach for the clouds at the North Country Climbing Center. How about a live show at renowned Jean’s Playhouse?
